The Palisades High Booster Club, Inc. (PBC)
Is the "Big Brother" if you
will, to the Palisades High Alumni Association (PHAA).
The PHAA is able to exist as a non-profit organization by being under the
umbrella of the PBC. There are graduates of Pali that have had their
children attend Pali, or currently are enrolled there. So in the end, we
all want the same thing for the school and its students, past, present and
future.
The PHAA and the PBC have their own treasurer serving
on their individual board of directors, so all funds that are given to the
PHAA come directly to us. Although we ask you to make your
membership/donation checks out to Palisades Booster Club, Alumni Fund. You
mail them to the alumni association c/o Pali. The PBC has an outside PO
Box. You can be assured that your donations go to the association/club of
your choice. Perhaps you can support both?
The PBC is instrumental in helping Pali High and its
students. Below is a letter from Dick Held, President of the PBC. Dick was
recognized by the PHAA at Alumni Night, June 2002, for his donations of
time, energy and monetary support. Dick has been instrumental in raising
(along with the members of the booster club) thousands upon thousands of
dollars for Pali High, over the last five years as president and an
additional year as a volunteer.
Dear Pali High Parents and Friends,
The Pali
High Booster Club is an nonprofit organization with a mission to enrich
the academic experience of our children while at Pali High. The funds
that we raise go directly to our school. *Thank you to those parents and
friends who have donated to the Palisades High School Booster Club in
the past.
The Booster Club relies on direct donations:
your financial support is essential. Is there a better investment than
in the education of our children? Donations of any amount are welcome
and show that you support your child's education. Your tax-deductible
donation of $500 represents about $12 a week. Contribute now!
